This blog is a collaborative effort between Brayden Johnson, Emily Spotts, and Jarrod Cruz. We enjoy writing, so two years ago, we made a blog to compile our writing in one place. All essays represent the views of their respective authors.

This Substack is edited, curated, and largely written by Brayden Johnson, a political science and public administration student at the University of Oklahoma. He is from Lawton, Oklahoma, and he cares deeply about his community and its future. Honestly though, he’s a dork who’s fascinated by institutions and spreadsheets. He finds discourse exciting, and he enjoys any chance to make anyone re-evaluate their preconceived notions.

Emily Spotts is a regular contributor and writer for Only to Thinking. She attends the University of Oklahoma, and she studies everything in every subject. She is from Lawton, Oklahoma, and she plans on returning to Lawton once she finishes school.
